Miko the Kitty: "Welcome to Montenegro. The following photo gallery is a trip in images to some of the most beautiful places in the country. Our visit begins with Boka Kotorska Bay, Europe’s southernmost fjord, to see the unique natural beauty of this bay and get to know its culture, history and architecture. We continue then to the old city of Budva to visit the churches, museums and galleries and move on to the spiritual center of Saint Stefan. This means two historic urban cores, seven Monasteries, about twenty sandy beaches and a line of parks in 20 km of the so-called Budva Riviera. Our next stops are the cities of Kotor and Cetinje where we will explore the most significant cities in the history and culture of Montenegro. Next is the Monastery of Ostrog, a unique place for the Orthodox, Catholics and Muslims, Montenegro’s most popular pilgrimage place. Discovering the unique habitat of Pelicans at Lake Skadar is our following stop. Lake Skadar is a place that will take your breath away, a place that demands complete attention in order to fully enjoy it richness. This short introductory visit to Montenegro ends with a stop in Ulcinj, the southernmost city at the coast of the Adriatic. Ulcinj, with 2.700 sunny hours per year, is for sure one of the sunniest places of the Adriatic coast."
