Acceptance of terms

1. We understand that by using any of Munduslingua services, i.e. but not limited to use of personal accounts, data feed, exchange of cultural information and translation/interpreter services, you signify your agreement to (1) these Terms of Use and (2) Munduslingua Privacy Policy incorporated herein to serve as a reference.
2. Please understand that although we may do our best to keep you up-to-date about major changes done to the here presented Terms of Use, you are advised to periodically review its last released version found at Terms of Use. Be aware that Munduslingua may review and/or modify in total discretion its terms and policies at any time, and that you agree to be bound to these modifications in such case. Furthermore, Munduslingua makes it clear that no point included in these Terms of Use shall be ever used to confer rights or benefits to a third-party.
3. Your privacy is a key issue for us. As a result Munduslingua has invested reasonable time preparing and revising our Privacy Policy, which will provide you the points on how you can share personal and cultural enriching content with others and how we manage and use your information. Please consider that we may also undertake changes to our Privacy Policy and that you accept to be bound to such modifications. We thus encourage you to read the Privacy Policy frequently, to use it for your benefit and keep up-to-date on how your content is being used by us.
4. Munduslingua uses YouTube API Services to display YouTube videos on the platform. In order to comply with YouTube's Terms of Service, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service when registering on Munduslingua.

Service

1. These terms of Use are applicable to all users of the Munduslingua community, including those who contribute with software, scripts, text, graphics, photos, videos, music, sounds and multimedia of any kind on the Service. The Service is comprised of all aspects that make the Munduslingua website, which include but not limited to all software, services offered such as chat, inbox, Mundusgroups, language lessons’ predefined material, translation services and any other application which users are to use solely within Munduslingua.
2. While each user may link his/her profile on Munduslingua with his/her profile on social networks such as, but not limited to, Facebook and Twitter or any other third party websites, we have no control over those external websites. Munduslingua thus takes no responsibility for the practices, privacy policy, terms of use and content of all external websites our users may be redirected to when clicking on links within Munduslingua. Furthermore it will be out of question for us to censor and/or block material displayed on external websites, and you will explicitly relieve Munduslingua from all liabilities due to you accessing external websites.

Safety & User conduct

1. You will not access Munduslingua using any sort of automated means such as robots, scrapers and spiders and restrain yourself from sending or uploading any unauthorized commercial communications such as spam.
2. You will not upload or use any malicious code within Munduslingua.
3. You will not try to reproduce this site and its code by any means such as Reverse Engineering or others.
4. You will by no means attempt to modify, translate, disassemble, edit or decompile any of the programs that enable any of the various applications used by Munduslingua on its website.
5. You will not make public on your profile or anywhere else on Munduslingua any veridical personal information that does not correspond to your own personal information.
6. You will not make up or fake any personal information such as name, last name, e-mail, etc. and use it to create an account on our website.
7. Munduslingua is a site for constructive cultural exchange. For that matter you will not upload, divulge or share content of any nature that criticizes, offends, harasses, mocks or disrespects in any way cultures, religions, individuals and their traditions. Similarly you will not share any content that may be abusive, vulgar, harmful, profane or obscene even if it does not necessarily disrespect something or someone in particular. In addition keep your language out of curse words no matter the language for most multimedia material, especially the videos in the Mundusgroups section, will also be accessible to children.
8. All users and especially those working as translators will not claim anyhow to be sponsored by, endorsed by or affiliated with the Munduslingua website.
9. Munduslingua will not discriminate or ban anyone or his/her content displayed on our website due to, but not limited to, ethnic group, religion, age, sexual identity, sexual orientation and physical appearance. The latter point will apply unless you appear naked or clearly sexually inciting users. Pornography of any kinds and sexually explicit material is especially prohibited.
10. You will ultimately not use Munduslingua to incite others to violent acts or to any religious, ideological or political driven actions that may harm or affect in any way any person, animal or being. Munduslingua is indeed open to cultural and ideological variety, however as long as this is done in a peaceful, responsible and most objective way possible.
11. Users come from a variety of cultures, traditions and mentalities. Therefore, you may or may not agree with some of their cultural, religious or everyday life aspects. However this will not give you a reason to put into question or criticize in any way publicly on Munduslingua their way of living.
12. You will not use Munduslingua for any action that may break the laws of any state or country.
13. You will not use Munduslingua for any kind of political or religious propaganda.
14. You will not encourage or propose any violations of the abovementioned points.

Registration and Accounts

1. You will not sign up using false information or create an account under someone else’s name without permission.
2. You will not create more than one personal account. If you lose or forget your password contact us first instead of opting to simply generate another account. Please be aware that this helps us maintain our server efficient in order to provide you a fast, reliable service.
3. If you are under 18 you will not create an account on Munduslingua. This is because accounts enable you to use online payment services external to our website that already require you to be over 18 according to their Terms and Conditions. If you create an account and you are under 18, you are aware that not only you are violating Munduslingua Terms of Use but also those of all external online payment websites used by Munduslingua, for it is immediately assumed that you are an adult by full right to use such external services. In such case and if any eventuality may arise from your unauthorized use of personal accounts on Munduslingua, you will waive us from any responsibility due to such use. Moreover if you would like to earn money through our translations platform and you are still underage, let an adult of full rights (preferably a parent or relative) open an account on Munduslingua on his/her name, manage all online payment services by himself/herself and pay you in person once he/she receives payment. We encourage you to follow this procedure in case you are underage, otherwise we may be obliged in the future to close this possibility for minors.
4. The external online payment services offered within Munduslingua are there to provide you total confidence and security. We ourselves do not specialize in secure online payment methods and thus our interest of using such services. You will however understand that while being external websites to Munduslingua, they all have their own Privacy Policies and Terms of Use. We thus encourage you to first read these documents before you decide to use their services. Finally, although we will do our best to provide you with information on how to easily make and receive payments using these external services, you will waive us of all liability due to your incorrect use of such systems or errors, mistakes or any other eventuality that may arise within these external websites.
5. We reserve the right to remove any content from your profile that we consider to be against a cultural enriching environment or even remove your profile from Munduslingua in case there is clear evidence of deliberate violation of our policies.
6. For security reasons we will record your IP address every time you access your profile and you will agree with this measure.
7. Password Recovery system. For this click on “Forgot password?” on Munduslingua’s main page. Once on the password recovery page, write down your account username and e-mail address. This will send you an automated message to your registered e-mail address along with a link to a page for resetting your password. This second page will ask you to enter your security hint and the alternate e-mail address. These two sets of information serve us as a way to confirm your identity before resetting your password. Remember you can enter a security hint and alternate e-mail address by accessing the “Account” menu on your profile. If you happen to have not entered any of these sets of information, leave the two fields empty and just enter the spam code to proceed to reset your password. The new password will be sent to your e-mail address so that you can once again access your account.

Copyrights and Contents

1. You wil not upload or share any content that has copyright without the owner’s permission.
2. You will not claim as yours any content that has already been shared by someone else. This includes all content that has been released or made public previously anywhere on the internet.
3. Any content you share within the Munduslingua community is yours. You will therefore retain all of your ownership rights in your content. It is important to notice however that by sharing any kind of content on Munduslingua you will grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicenseable and transferable license to use, display, reproduce, distribute and organize your content. You will also agree to grant all users in and outside Munduslingua a non-exclusive license to access all material you display in the Mundusgroups section. Understand also that the abovementioned licenses will end upon deletion or removal of your content within a reasonable time. Furthermore you acknowledge and agree that Munduslingua may keep at any time server copies of your deleted or removed content. In such cases this content shall not be displayed or distributed in any way by us unless it serves as proof of criminal activities for the authorities of any country. In all cases, however, Munduslingua reserves the right to ultimately share or not this deleted content with the authorities of any country or state.
4. Although we are committed on the exactness of all the information we provide on Munduslingua about, but not limited to, countries and regions, we do not guarantee it will always be correct and/or updated. We are not responsible for any inconvenience due to anyone’s interpretation and/or use of information being incorrect or out-of-date, and as such, you will waive us of all liability that may arise in such cases.

Payments & Ads

Account Termination

1. You will stop being provided all or part of Munduslingua services in case we consider you are violating these Terms of Use. Munduslingua will reserve the right to delete your account when we consider appropriate or remove any content in violation of these Terms of Use. You may also delete or remove content from your profile at any time. In case you close your account these Terms of Use will terminate, however understand that provision 5.3. will still apply.
2. In order to free our servers and provide our users the best service possible, we are bound to remove all accounts that show inactivity for a period equal or greater than six consecutive months.

Disputes
